In my unthinkable thinking I came up with a scenario that is surprisingly within the realm of the possible considering today’s political climate. It goes like this.
For such a takeover of our country to take place there first would have to be a way of subverting the original intent of the words of the Constitution. This would be necessary because the Constitution’s clear words protect us against one branch of government having too much power. Also, the founding document clearly limits the power of each branch and gives to the states those powers not specifically delineated in its words.
In order to do this one would have to devise an approach to interpreting the Constitution that allows for flexibility, allowing the courts to use extra-Constitutional ideas as the basis of their decisions. Judges, then, would have to be appointed who agreed with this approach and desired to use their position to legislate from the bench.
After this is accomplished, judges would then begin to interpret the Constitution in a way that thwarted its moral principles. Morality would have to be taken out of the decision-making process because the moral provisions of the document were included to protect against a radical takeover of the country.
Outdated ideas such as prayer, the Bible and family values would have to be diminished in favor of an amoral approach that would allow the immorality of a totalitarian approach to leadership.
This would especially require a re-invention of the First Amendment that provides the fundamental individual freedoms. The religious clauses of this Amendment are very specific in their wording: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"
These words are amazingly clear. They tell Congress to stay out of the business of establishing or prohibiting religion. Religion, was to be completely out of the hands of the law-making body of the country. And of course this would also keep it out of the hands of the judicial branch except when it had to use its balancing power to keep Congress out of religion.
The clear words of the Constitution make it without debate that the judicial branch could only judge matters of the law. And of course all law had its origin in the principles of the Constitution. The courts were never to usurp the legislative power of the Congress but were to remain in the interpreting venue at all times.
But in order for this takeover of the Republic to occur that would have to change. The words of the First Amendment are too clear to be misconstrued and Congress clearly could never get into the business of religion.
This would demand that the courts use the aforementioned flexible approach to the Constitution to stretch the meaning of the First Amendment. The words are so clear that the courts would have to judge that they “imply” more than they say. They “imply” a separation of church and state. They aren’t meant merely to limit the Congress but should be applied across the country by a Supreme Court that would assume law-making powers. State would be interpreted as all government including local and state government and the courts could judicially make laws based on this erroneous interpretation of these clear words.
For example, the courts could rule, when given the appropriate case, that the First Amendment did not apply only to Congress but to all expressions of government across the country. This would allow the courts, using legislative power, to use the First Amendment to establish religion and to prohibit religion wherever it chose.
For example in 1962, in Engle v. Vitale the Supreme Court rendered a decision that included these words:
…prayer was composed by governmental officials as a part of a governmental program to further religious beliefs. For this reason, petitioners argue, the State's use of the Regents' prayer in its public school system breaches the constitutional wall of separation between Church and State.
What an ingenious twisting of the words of the First Amendment. Now the words “Congress shall make no law…” refer to any governmental officials including the regents of the state schools. But that kind of twisting was necessary in order to nullify the true meaning of the Establishment Clause so that government, through the courts, could begin to regulate religion in America.
This would also be necessary for a takeover of the country because the schools must be brought under the control of the federal government so that only the morality it espouses could be taught in the schools. Using this approach the government could begin to shut down any vestiges of God-centered religion and begin to replace it with godless religion such as humanism with its emphasis on evolution as the prevailing worldview. Children brought up under such teachings would be drawn away from morality and explanations that include the existence of a Creator.
Of course the family would have to be diminished as a source of moral and social stability in the nation. The tactic that would be used here would be to attack the place that women play in marriage and the family. Women must be encouraged to join the work force and put their children under the care of day care workers. This would result in children being gradually disconnected from the family and its moral influence. This lack of moral structure would set the stage for a continuing takeover of the minds of the children.
At the same time, moving women into the workforce would weaken the relationship between husbands and wives. This would be good because the healthy marriage is the binding thread of American society. This breakdown would help set the stage for a gradual takeover of the thinking of parents and their children.
An important step would be the creation of a welfare state. A sense of entitlement must be created through government programs that pull people away from individual initiative into dependence on the government. Food, housing, jobs, prices, health care and other basic needs would have to be doled out by the government so that a class of dependent people would be created as a ready source of votes. People would vote for the candidates that would promise them the most in basic needs.
The unions would be a ready source of political power for this takeover cause. Unions can be taken over from the inside and can be influential in driving salaries and prices up. Government decisions would help enrich the unions and they would become another source of votes and political support.
Another important part of this scheme is the creation of agencies that give more power to the federal government and take it out of the local and state governments. An environment protection agency could be created to regulate the way environment is affected in the country. Using outlandish ideas of environmentalism this agency would be able to regulate entire industries with regulations supposedly aimed at cleaning up the environment. The more power is centralized into the federal government the closer the country can be moved toward a massive takeover.
Various industries could be controlled by this environmental approach. Automobiles, oil and coal, agriculture and many other industries could be brought under the umbrella of the government through this straw man argument.
A very big step would be to establish a cabinet position for regulating education across the country. Education would have to be ripped from local and state control and put into the hands of the central government. A department of education would work nicely for this purpose especially if states could be duped into accepting federal funds for federally mandated programs. Through this strategy, more control of the federal government over the states would greatly enhance the gradual dictatorial takeover of America.
Regulation could be used effectively to give much more power to the federal government. Regulation means power removed from the private sector and put into the hands of the government. It would be necessary to regulate such things as Wall Street, Banks, health care, big industries such as oil, automobiles, and housing. Regulation can come in many different forms but so long as the federal government has the power the takeover remains plausible.
Regulation can be used also as the motivation for the appointment of many unelected officials who are not responsible to the voting public. A power hungry president could use this approach to appoint many people with political clout who are not elected and do the bidding of the administration in power. They could actually be doing the work of legislators and judges without being elected. They would simply extend the power of the central government.
All of this demands that the government create emergency situations. Emergencies become the rationale for government takeover. Perceived environmental disaster, for example, could open the door for massive regulation of the private sector. A trumped up health care disaster would set the stage for a government takeover of the health care industry, perhaps the industry closest to the personal needs of the people. A perceived military or terrorist attack would be perfect for a government takeover of such things as major media and internet sources.
However it is done, the media must be brought under the control of the federal government. The universities that train the country’s journalists and reporters would need to be influenced toward the secular liberal approach so that they would be open to the liberal causes that lead to federal power. The media must become the propaganda tool of the federal government and any media outlets that do not cooperate must be crowded out through whatever means possible. The federal government could use its bully pulpit to preach the evils of those who oppose them and encourage those who agree.
Hot button issues like race and immigration would serve to divide the country and deepen the influence of the government. These issues could be exploited whenever possible to condemn the opposition while exploiting the emotions of the cultures involved. Race has always worked well as a catalyst for effective change. It may be the most polarizing issue of all.
The final coup de tat of this strategy would involve finding a candidate with charisma and excellent communication skills. He would not have to be very experienced because he would function as a mere figurehead of the covert movement to subvert the country and replace traditional republican, representative government with a government-centered one.
It would be necessary for this candidate to be a clandestine politician without too much political baggage that might be used to expose him. It would be very helpful if he were a member of a minority so the racial issue could be exploited even more effectively. With the help of a cooperative media it would be possible to keep any negative baggage from the past under wraps until after the election. Once elected the new president with the backing and funding of covert organizations would move quickly to enact predetermined programs aimed at the overthrow of the present political system.
Of course, I could go on for many chapters with this takeover scenario, but I think my enlightened readers have gotten the idea by now. The truth is that much of this has already come to pass and the Obama administration is being used as the wedge to cut out a massive piece of this agenda. The plan to increase government power is right on schedule.
So that’s where education fits into this scenario. A takeover of the educational system has been one of the basic tenants of the secular-liberal movement since its inception.
John Dunphy, in his book The Humanist gave this away when he said, “
I am convinced that the battle for humankind's future must be waged and won in the public school classroom by teachers who correctly perceive their role as the proselytizers of a new faith.
The plan to infiltrate the school system from Kindergarten through university is virtually complete and the ideas of Dunphy and his mentor John Dewey, the father of modern education and avowed atheist and socialist, is nearly complete. Parents have been sleeping while their children have been propagandized right under their noses.
What will the education policies of Barack Obama look like? They will look like the rest of his programs. They will involve a top-down approach where the federal government controls the curriculum and with the help of the teachers’ unions controls the classrooms. Education will fall into the same pattern we have seen with the banks, Wall Street, auto industry, energy industries, real estate, and health care. Emergencies will be declared and emergency actions will result in a continuing takeover of the government schools. Children will be encouraged to sing praises to their leader while their minds are slowly captured.
The unions will be repaid for their loyal support of Obama during the election. He will return the favor with bailouts that give taxpayer money to the very people who are subverting their children and grandchildren. Charter schools, private schools and choice in general will be discouraged and home schooling will continue to be perceived as a threat to the government school system.
We are rushing toward an Obamanation and the results may not be recognized until it is too late. It is time to awaken from our stupor and step fully into this revolution. This book is a call for such a grass roots revolt of the people against this takeover. We hope many will join the cause before it is too late.
